Is there a user guide or manual for using this player?
How do I watch live NFL games?
How do I watch tv shows in my area?

Dear dondcajun,
For the most part, you will probably be using the Channel Guide more than anything. To open the Channel Guide, once you open the software, simply click on the "Guide" loader on the left side of the interface. There, you will find several filters; which filters specific types of TV content. You may also scroll down to view all content.
To provide a better user experience, all content is divided into sections, within the Channel Guide. In some occasions, you may need to install some TV provider plug-ins.
To watch sports, you may simply click on the "Sports" filter within the channel guide. To watch live sports, you will need to resort to a one of the providers listed under "Live Sports TV providers", since most TV networks tend to offer their content mostly on-demand.
To watch local TV shows, simply choose the "International" ("Int'l") filter within the Channel Guide. Scroll down to the "Local TV by Country" section and choose your country.

Dear Mred, thank you for contacting us. In regards to your question, all paid providers/channels are color-coded in gold. All other is free. If they still require you to pay, look for a free option therein (sometimes, you will have to look for the free content once you have chosen a channel/provider.)
